As per the agreement between CKV - Ekon, far before the job all preliminary  investigations have been generated. In paralel to these, lifting and ringing plans and drawings were prepared and submitted to Ekon & Sanso.

     The cold box group was composed of 3 pieces ;

2 Pieces of Cold Box Bottom block, 6 x 7 x 24 (H) m.  100 t.

Top Block 6 x 7 x 35 (H) m. 130 t.

1 Piece of HexBox 7 x 8 x 14 (H) m. 80 t.

The assembly plan mutually agreed with Sanso & Ekon covered the installation of Cold box bottom  block and hex box and then the cold box top block.

The cranes selected and proposed for this project were;

Lifting Crane; CC2800 Demag (84 m. Main boom)

Tailing Crane; LT1250 Liebherr (29 m. main boom).

On the other hand, considering all adverse conditions beyond our controll (weather, surface conditions intermediate assemlies, etc.) CKV has proposed the total operation time as 7 days.

         Following  the prepation of site base as per our requirements, noting the weather conditions, on the first day of operations, Coldbox bottom section and hexbox were installed respectivelly according to the plans.

      Then after, Ekon carried out the fixation of both blocks within right time, to shift to next stage.

As the wind was effective especialy in the afternoons, it was decided to complete the installation of cold box top section before noon.

Then next day, following a coordinated operation, tihis block was placed succesfully after all these installations, within a week all the platforms , stairs, etc. have been assembled with the help of LT1250.
